Event data recorders

As every mode of transportation becomes more computerized, more of what happened on scene is recorded in specialized equipment on the vehicle. Event data can also be volatile, and recovering it correctly is a one-chance proposition.

We are certified in Bosch Crash Data Retrieval and equipped to image heavy-duty truck and bus electronic control modules, motorcycle recorders, GPS units, and Berla-supported infotainment systems.

Recovering the data is the smaller part of the work; each system records different parameters, at different rates, triggered by different conditions, and an EDR readout must account for these subtleties to be interpreted properly.

The set of vehicles carrying usable data grows every model year and the contents differ vehicle to vehicle. Contact us to discuss what is likely to be available in a specific vehicle before it is released or repaired.
